I'm Lucie. I am a pregnancy, birth, and postnatal doula based in Edinburgh, supporting families across the Lothians, Falkirk, and parts of the Scottish Borders, Lanarkshire, and Fife. I’m also a proud member of the Scottish Doula Network.

I believe birth is a profound event — and that every woman deserves to feel supported, informed, and truly cared for as she moves through this transformational time.

As your doula, I offer calm, continuous support — before, during, and especially after birth. Think of me as an extra auntie, sister, or mother — someone by your side to nurture you so that you can nurture your baby.

In times past, new mothers were surrounded by their community — held, fed, listened to, and protected as they healed and adjusted. That kind of care has become rare, but it’s still essential. My role is to help bring it back.

Whether you're preparing for a physiological birth at home, planning a caesarean, or still exploring your options, I’m here to walk beside you with respect, warmth, and non-judgement. My support is always tailored to your choices, your values, and your needs — so you feel grounded and held every step of the way.
